Our client, a stable and successful International Company, is expanding the payroll team in their Head Office. The incumbent will work within a team of five. The team is responsible for the payroll activities of the company at a national level, including all active and retired employees.
Responsibilities:
· Multi-provincial payroll, including both union and non-unionized employees, semi-monthly and bi-weekly payroll
· Pension and Benefits administration
· Tracking vacation and sick days
· Preparation of reports in Crystal as necessary
· Managing and archiving payroll data
Experience:
· Five years payroll administration experience
· Multi-provincial payroll experience, an asset
· PCP, in progress or completed, an asset
Skills:
· 1st Level PCP required
· Intermediate/Advanced Excel and Word
· Advanced knowledge of payroll policies and procedures
· Knowledge of Crystal Reports, an asset
Competencies:
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment and to meet strict deadlines
· Ability to work independently and within a team
· Excellent time-management skills
· Highly organized with attention to detail
· Excellent communications skills
· Customer focused
· Mathematical aptitude
· Fluency in English and French, oral and written
Salary: 50-55K, plus benefits and bonus plan
