Salary Commensurate with Experience

As the Chief Estimator, Mechanical you will have responsibility for the management of all mechanical estimates and will provide mechanical estimating support to the Industrial Projects group as well as project management teams. Specifically you will manage and coordinate work affecting mechanical discipline estimates, work with other discipline estimators to develop mechanical scope of work and costs for multi-discipline estimates, as well as provide information to support and review detailed scheduling and develop bid strategies and close mechanical estimates. To be considered for this role you must possess relevant post-secondary education in electrical engineering or mechanical estimating, combined with 5 to 10 years of experience in the construction industry gained from experience in a managerial level estimating position. Experience with heavy industrial construction is required as is an advanced knowledge of the Canadian Mechanical Building Code.
