AMEC Earth & Environmental is a global leader in providing geotechnical and environmental services.  Due to expansion in workloads and project opportunities, we are actively recruiting an Intermediate Remediation Engineer to join our team in Fredericton or Saint John, NB.




Responsibilities:




. Conduct of project field tasks related to remediation system design, installation, operation, maintenance and optimization. 



. Conduct of project office tasks including data interpretation, preparation and review of associated progress updates and reporting



. Project Management, coordination and direction of project team activities and direction of junior project technical staff



. Liaison with clients, regulators, sub-consultants and sub-contractors



. Contribution to business development and client relationship management






Qualifications:




. A degree in civil or environmental engineering (masters level would be an asset)



. Minimum of six years of progressive field and office experience in remediation system design, installation, operation, maintenance and optimization.  Experience with bioremediation, natural attenuation and landfill design would be an asset



. Effective written and oral communication skills



. Strong analytical and problem solving abilities



. A strong desire to provide outstanding customer service and a commitment to technical excellence



. Strong organizational skills, ability to manage and prioritize several assignments at one time while ensuring delivery within specified deadlines and on budget



. Licensed to practice as a professional engineer in New Brunswick, or eligible to be licensed within six months



.  Valid driver's license and flexibility for occasional out of province travel
