their industry is eager to hire permanent full time, Bilingual General Ledger
Accountant.


 


Principal Accountability





  • Book and review sales
    ledger

  • Prepare sales reports

  • Review promo journal
    entries

  • Review food, paper
    and non-product inventory

  • Review labour and tax
    accrual

  • Prepare and book
    Accruals

  • Analyze 60-65 cost center P & L's

  • Prepare, review and
    book deposit reconciliations

  • Analyze accounts
    receivable

  • Analyze balance sheet
    accounts

  • Monthly Budget
    Reporting

  • Communicate with
    Restaurant Managers, Operations Consultants and Operations Managers.

  • Ad hoc reporting


The ideal candidate will possess the following competencies:


o       
Excellent oral and
written communication skills


o       
Must be bilingual
(French/English)


o       
Excellent customer
service and analytical skills


o       
Minimum second or third
level CGA or equivalent with a strong working knowledge of GAAP


o       
Excellent PC skills
with experience using Excel, Access and Word


o       
Strong organizational
skills with attention to detail


o       
The ability to work
independently and meet deadlines


o
