Accountant

Our client, a small and rapidly growing consulting firm located in downtown Toronto, is actively looking for an experienced Accountant to assist them on a part-time basis.  In this role, you will assist with the processing of all receivables, payables and bank reconciliations.   You will work closely with the team to generate financial reports and statements and prepare client invoicing for time and materials. if you are actively looking for part-time career opportunity (approx. 25 hours per week, with flexible schedule) please review the qualifications below.

Qualified candidates must present.

- 3-5 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience, ideally in a consulting environment

- Proven ability to manage a high volume full cycle A/P and A/R

- Exposure to time and materials invoicing practices

- Excellent communication skills, combined with the ability to recommend process improvements
- Demonstrated ability to plan, execute and lead projects

- Advanced level skills with MS Excel and QuickBooks
