Accounts Payable Clerk

Our client is a high quality, well managed, family oriented golf and multi-activity country club in the city of Toronto. They provide year round recreational and social activities to meet the needs of their members.

 

The Club wants to hire an Accounts Payable Clerk who will be a member of the accounting team, and will report to the Accounting Supervisor.

 
Salary from $33,000.00 to $35,000.00 (Annually)

My client is looking for an energetic person with excellent communication skills, with 2 to 3 years of full cycle Accounts Payable experience. 

 

Qualifications:

- Very strong in both, oral and written communication skills)

- Must have an accounting degree or a diploma

- Must have 2 -3 years of full cycle Accounts Payable experience

- Strong in MS Word and MS Excel

- Must have a strong knowledge of coding and an understanding of the General Ledger

- Ability to process a very high volume of invoices on a monthly basis

- Must have a strong knowledge of how to calculate volume discounts where appropriate

- Ability to process 2 large cheque runs per month, after obtaining relevant approvals

- Must be willing to complete filing of documents, and all verbal and written communications with suppliers
