EEM Competency Centre Director

Position Profile
The International business card title is expected to be EEM Competency Centre Director. Local position evaluation will depend on North American Policy.
The EEM Competency Center has 2 goals: a) assist & train targeted country organizations to quote, deploy and support EEM as part of a segment solution and b) help move the EEM platform from a customization-intensive deployment model to a lower-cost, extensible deployment model with segment-specific editions and reusable assets.
Working with Country Organizations, Project Execution Centers, Power Solution VPs, and Software Development Teams, your EEM Competency Center will help determine the right mix of commercial opportunities and R&D priorities so that the EEM business grows sustainably.
You are a fearless, entrepreneurial leader who can work productively with demanding business partners. You will keep the EEM strategy foremost in your priorities, declining EEM jobs when they would distract the team and accepting jobs with some risk when you see a way to accelerate the strategy.
Responsibilities & Key Tasks
. Staff the EEM Competency Center and establish processes that create efficient, effective operations
. Define the criteria to decide whether or not to quote EEM
. Propose alternative solutions when EEM is not suitable
. Work with Power Solution VPs to launch EEM, as part of a complete solution, into targeted countries & segments
. Work with Offer Managers & Architects to influence the EEM roadmap & architecture. Contribute to the shift from monolithic platforms to product-line assets
. Work with countries on initial EEM deployments. Train or assist them with quoting, deploying, supporting & extending EEM.
. Work with Solutions Development Project Managers, Quoting Managers and Application Engineers to train and assist countries
. Assess EEM fit for new solutions and prepare acquisition files when appropriate.
. Document EEM applications & deployment practices to reduce cost of deployment
. Support historical/legacy EEM opportunities & installations as required
. Drive for One Schneider, avoiding redundant sales engagements at the same customer, leveraging competencies from others when possible.
Qualifications
. At least 5 years experience with projects and software-oriented business.
. Good understanding of software engineering and consultative selling practices
. Fearless when working with demanding business partners. Ability to decline jobs that will take EEM away from its targeted solutions or countries.
. Entrepreneurship in working with technical teams to find creative, repeatable solutions to real customer needs
. Proven ability to take personal ownership of issues and drive for results
. Excellent organizational, time management, communication, decision-making and relationship management skills
. Strong knowledge of Schneider software products, solutions and business
. Strong network of contacts inside and outside Schneider Electric that you use to promote EEM and guide its evolution.
