Expense Payable Administrator















The Canadian Accounting Centre (CAC) is currently seeking an experienced Expense Payable Administrator to join their team for a 6 month contract role.



Our CAC-Accounts Payable Team processes a high volume of invoices in a fully computerized, fast-paced setting. This role would be ideal for someone who possesses excellent data entry, analytical, organizational and time management skills, and enjoys working in a professional and dynamic environment.



Responsibilities:



The successful candidate will:



-Review invoices to verify coding, approval, billing information and taxes

-Process invoices using Oracle AP

-Respond to queries from suppliers and PwC partners and staff by e-mail or phone

-Review/Reconcile vendor statements

-File and retrieve supporting documents and

-Assist in other areas of accounting, as required.



Qualifications:



The ideal applicant must possess the following:



-Minimum of 3 years' accounting experience, preferably in Accounts Payable

-Experience with Oracle A/P, or an equivalent electronic accounts payable program

-Knowledge of Lotus Notes, an asset

-Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills

-Strong analytical skills

-Fast and accurate data entry skills

-Strong verbal and written communication skills

-Committed to provide excellent customer service

-Sharp eye for details and a passion to learn

-Able to work independently and as part of a team

-Strong multi-tasking, time-management and organizational skills and

-Good knowledge of accounting processes and procedures.
