IT Specialist (WebSphere)

Our client is one of the major banks in Toronto.  This person would be part of a dynamic team that is accountable for day-to-day technology routines and maintenance to support enhanced availability of web services.

 

The candidate will be responsible for technical support and administration for technologies managed by the team. Specific focus will be within the web environments, primarily with WebSphere.  

 

Qualifications:

.           Minimum 7 years of experience building, deploying and administering WebSphere Application Server

.           Expert working knowledge of WebSphere

.           Thorough knowledge of UNIX (Linux/AIX) and/or Windows operating systems

.           Expert knowledge of Unix Shell scripting

.           Knowledge of Database technologies (DB2, Oracle or MS SQL Server)

.           Familiarity with Pega-Systems products

.           Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
