Manager of Strategic Planning

If you want to be part of a successful organization that shows passion for teamwork, customers, and results then please read on.  Our client, an international organization with the Canadian headquarters located in the north part of the GTA is searching for a Manager of Strategic Planning.  The successful candidate, reporting directly to the VP of Finance, will be responsible for the financial and operational performance, short and long term planning, and identifying and evaluating growth opportunities through acquisitions and new business initiatives.

 

The Manager of Strategic Planning will blend their strong business acumen, leadership, interpersonal, and influencing skills to deliver top and bottom line growth.  Specific responsibilities include reporting and presenting to senior management the functional and business unit level short and long term results and strategic plans, develop contingency plans, lead business productivity initiatives, provide competitor analysis, and identify and evaluate strategic business opportunities.

 

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

·        Business degree and holding a professional designation (MBA/CFA/CA/CMA/CGA)

·        At least 8 years of related experience

·        Strong business acumen attention to detail with the ability to see the big picture

·        Ability to lead, influence, and drive results across the organization

·        Proven ability to drive process re-engineering

·        Excellent technical skills and highly analytical

·        Excellent organizational and time management skills
