Pension Data Analyst















Job Description

Reporting to the Manager, Pension and Benefits the key mandate for this temporary role is to amalgamate the pension and savings data from different systems and create a data file that accurately captures each employee's membership data in all plans for implementation into SAP. You are responsible for identification of data errors/issues and working with the pension team to resolve any discrepancies prior to system go live date. As well liaise with the HRIS team and work with to provide recommendations as to how prepare the information for loading.

This position will play an integral part in assisting and maintaining data integrity to ensure a smooth process transition. The ideal candidate will be driven by the ability to steward information and correctly translate into the system.

Accountabilities

* A minimum of two years of related experience utilizing and manipulating large amounts of data

* Proven track record with gathering data/information, completing analysis and identifying discrepancies and gaps

* Experience with maintaining, updating and amalgamating data from different sources into one data file for loading

* Previous experience with a large system conversion will be considered an asset

* Reconciling data from different systems and sources with appropriate audit trail

* Ability to adhere to privacy and confidentiality regulations

* Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines are critical

* Superior computer skills, with emphasis on Excel and SAP.
