Description	Location: Bolton (Just North of Brampton) Apply to: nickm@tes.net Duration: Permanent Pay-rate: $70k/yr to $80k/yr PROJECT MANAGER Facilitate steering committee meetings to prioritize project deliverables and communicate updates to the business unit Leads the planning phase of projects. Support global team leaders in tracking project schedules and costs Coordinate with the project stakeholders to identify and allocate resources for each task in a planned release May lead hand off from product development to produce release. Provides leadership to project team members in completing project stages and coordinating expertise. This includes leading recovery planning, risk mitigation, quality control, and problem solving initiatives. Develops strong working relationships and promotes team effort to ensure effective use of all resources and positive resolution of conflict. Ensures that project milestones and objectives are completed on time and that they meet the customer's expectations Manages the project budget, including forecasting expenditures and monitoring efficiency and profitability throughout the project Creates metrics that are relevant, clear, concise and help steer towards a successful completion of the project May lead or participate in continuous improvement activities Qualifications Post-secondary education (Bachelor of Engineering degree preferred) or equivalent experience. 1 - 3 years project management experience including scheduling and budget responsibilities in a Manufacturing Environment (MECHANICAL ENGINEERING) Strong financial knowledge and insight an asset Business experience preferably in a leadership capacity in the areas of manufacturing, supply chain, operations or engineering ++++++ Apply via email to nickm@tes.net ++++++
