Position: Senior Business Analyst Mandatory Skills: - Strong business analysis knowledge and skill sets. - Strong understanding of Corporate strategy. - Technical knowledge of various software, IT services, and / or mobility applications is considered an asset. - Strong financial acumen. - Thorough knowledge of process alignment, design and re-engineering best practices in a business to business environment. - Ability to work effectively in an environment of conflicting priorities, shifting management structures, scope changes and to adjust priorities as required. - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Strong leadership and negotiation skills - Strong interpersonal skills - Superior computer skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.) - Well developed interpersonal, planning and organizing skills, including the ability to plan, coordinate and monitor a significant number of functions simultaneously. - Takes ownership of issues and ensure their timely resolution. - Ability to manage expectations across management and organizational levels. - Capable of presenting to both a technical and non-technical audience at all levels of the organization. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Nice-to-Have Skills: Post secondary education in business, computer science, engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience. - PMP - IIBA - 5-10 years experience in IT/Telecom. - Experience leading transformational programs. - Experience in process design and process engineering. - Experience contributing to the development and successful sale of large complex, big-ticket solutions. Location: Vancouver Duration: 6 Months Start Date: January 28, 2010 Job Description: With your experience in process development and implementation, you will lead the development and enhancement of the processes used by a team to package, sell and implement our clients services. Working closely with Product Managers, the successful Business Analyst will champion process alignment and design to improve presales, order to bill intervals and improve overall customer experience.
