Senior Security Consultant (5 month contract)

Our client, based in Toronto, is looking for experienced Security Consultants for various Enterprise Risk roles. The lengths of contract range from 2-5 months. All work will be done locally in Toronto, Ontario.

The consultants must have deep experience in IT Security principles, technologies, programs and procedures accompanied by an understanding of risk management methodologies and frameworks and the ability to perform threat and risk assessments.

Understanding of information systems technologies including Operating systems security, LAN and WAN, internet protocols and applications, secure communications, firewalls IDS/IPS systems, PKI, identity management, identification and authentication techniques, role-based access control (RBAC), antivirus and other security products.

Strong understanding and ability to interpret and communicate Risk Management concepts

Knowledge and experience in security in security architecture, security standards such as ISO27001, ISO27002, and IT management frameworks such as ITIL and COBIT

Industry recognized security certification such as CISSP, GSEC, CISM, SANS GIAC and CISA are highly desirable.
