Technical Sales Rep - Small and Medium Business
Location: Toronto
The Technical Sales Representative (TSR) is responsible for supporting Dell Canada's sales team in their efforts to configure and sell Dell Enterprise products and related services within. The TSR must have the ability to identify customer requirements through a consultative selling approach and must be able to consider the customer requirements from an enterprise rather than a single system perspective.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have proven time management and project management skills. He/she has strong verbal and written communications skills.
Candidates with previous working knowledge of multi-platform network hardware and software, LAN software and hardware, SAN infrastructure and with Multiple Network Operating System certifications such as MCSE, CNA, UNIX, ORACLE will be highly valued.
- 2 years end user technical sales experience
- Minimum 2-3 years working in a sales environment
- Strong presentation skills
- Proven experience using coaching skills in training.
Preferred skills:
- Thorough knowledge of LAN architecture Dell/EMC product knowledge
- Working knowledge of multi-platform network hardware and software
- Working knowledge of SAN infrastructure, iSCSI technology
- Knowledge of Industry technical pain points and up and emerging technologies.
