You will be responsible for the management of internal control compliance projects, assisting with the quarterly and annual financial reporting and tax compliances, coordinating quarterly review and annual financial statement audit/tax compliance with the external accounting firm.  You will also be preparing and reviewing month end closing journal entries, reviewing and assembling corporate monthly financial reporting and consolidating reporting packages, approving weekly Accounts Payable invoices.    You will be supervising an operational team of 5 staff members.  You must be IFRS literate and have experience with internal control testing as this company is required to report under IFRS starting 2011 with 2010 comparatives.   Please forward your resume for immediate consideration to Sheila.schuch@elby.ca.
