General Accountant - Contract (1 year mat-leave)

 

Quantec Geoscience is interested in hiring an organized and hardworking Accountant to join our growing team. This is a Contract position for 1 year.

 

 

DUTIES

 

• Produce standard monthly reports for management


• Manage and review business processes - AR, AP, Billing, Payroll, timesheets cycles


• Maintain project set-up.


• Variance analysis


• Reconciliation of the G/L


• Produce consolidation spreadsheet


• Review foreign exchange accounting


• Compile corporate tax return schedules


• Special projects as required


• Company cellphone management


• Workers compensation, out of province filing, workers injury report


• Managing vehicle files
  
  

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• 3 ¿ 4 years experience




• University or College Diploma - CGA or CMA program




• Must be well organized, hardworking and able to multi-task




• Ability to think out of the box




• Excellent with Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint/Word/Access




• Crystal Reports/Adobe/Photoshop/HTTP would be a bonus




• Excellent inter-personal skills




• A team player who gets along well with others

 

Salary: 

$45,000.00/annual.
