Retail Cash Analyst - Sales Audit

 

Large retail across Canada and the US, is hiring a Cash
Analyst to join their dynamic, progressive team!  

 

 

The Sales Audit/Cash Analyst is
responsible for managing and reconciling the store and corporate depository and
credit card activity, as well as accurately and efficiently processing journal
entries associated with this activity. 
This position is responsible for assisting with software implementation
and fee negotiations establishing and maintaining relationships with banks and
credit card processors setting up new bank accounts and credit card merchant
numbers and other administrative functions of the Finance Department.  Cash management, monitor all store cash
deposits daily to optimize the use of cash 
and reduce fraud related  to
missing/short deposits.  Interact
frequently with store/field personnel, other members of the Finance Department
and other departments within the corporate office. 

 

You will handle inquiries
related to banks and credit card processors. 
Journal entry processing perform accurate journal entry processing for
retail locations across Canada.  Assist
with the monthly journal entry process to ensure that all entries are
completed.

 

Credit card reconciliation,
daily activity to ensure the appropriate credit sales have been received.  Research any discrepancies. Account
reconciliations assist with cash forecasting and bank reconciliations for the
retail outlets and corporate head office.

 

Qualifications:

BA from four year college or university

2 years related experience

Retail exposure an asset

Strong written/oral
communication skills

Strong MS Office (Word, Excel)
Navision
