The successful candidate will ensure the timely delivery of Cable Retention offers & managing the monthly opex budget process for the Cable Retention team. - Close the loop on the retention offer process by following approved offers through Finance & IT to ensure offer delivery timelines meet marketing expectations and are appropriately communicated to the stakeholders (Marketing, save gate, Loyalty queues, etc.)
- Develop & implement tracking process with guidelines for escalation
- Manage monthly budget process, including update of budget summary for monthly review by VP, Directors and Managers.
- Ensure the opening of requisitions, the follow-up on Purchase Orders (including PO closing), and obtaining approvals from the different levels of authorization.
- Maintaining regular follow-ups on the estimates/quotes with Marketing Specialists and Managers.
- Review and update monthly accruals with Managers and Finance.
- Follow up on invoices and payments (approvals, corrections, verifications) with agencies, suppliers and Account payable.
- Reinforce current procedures/processes for the teams and propose opportunities of improvement.
- Work closely with Procurement, Finance, Account Payable, Communication, suppliers and budget owners.
- Post-secondary degree with a focus in Office Automation or Accounting preferred
- Three to five years of professional experience in budget management, project coordination and/or process improvement
- Experience with budget and purchase requisition systems (knowledge of Oracle an asset)
- Proven project management skills
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel
- Ability to manage multiple and conflicting deadlines
- Taste for precision and detail oriented
