Accounts Payable Clerk














We are currently accepting applications for Accounts Payable Clerk for the Halifax area. In this 3 month contract position the incumbent will be required to provide financial, administrative and clients services support. Responsibilities will include but are not limited :



  • processing invoices

  • processing vendor payments

  • purchase order register payments

  • vendor file reconciliation and maintenance

  • assisting with month end reports

  • providing administrative assistance




  • To be successful in this role you will need:



  • 2 to 5 yrs accounts payable experience with a post secondary education in accounting

  • proficient with data entry

  • strong computer skills specifically with MS word, excel and outlook as well as computerized accounting

  • detail oriented

  • team player who works well independently
