Our client, an automotive manufacturer, is currently searching for a Safety Specialist to ensure compliance with government regulations and lead the vehicle safety area.
Key Responsibilities will include:
. Comply with government reporting requirements for the TREAD Act
. Provide management and guidance and legislation interpretation to related departments on product and safety regulations
. Consult on recalls, model development, retrofits, testing
. Ensure documentation is in place according to Safety legislation and company requirements
To be successful in the role of Safety Specialist you would have the following qualifications:
. A minimum of 5 years experience with automotive safety and compliance programs
. A university or college degree or diploma related to Mechanical Engineering
. Strong collaboration skills
