Our client located in the Etobicoke area is looking for a Bookkeeper/Office Administrator to join their growing team. You will need to be able to work on your own in a small office environment with a comfort level to handle a variety of duties and responsibilities including:
- Answer telephones
- Open/distribute Mail
- Check customer credit and release work order to shop
- Enter Purchase orders for inventory items required for sales orders
- Receive all goods from suppliers and input into system
- Do inventory adjustments for each sales order
- Invoice customers
- Attach copy of invoice to related sales order and file
- Mail invoices to customer
- Accounts receivable collections for amounts due
- Apply cheques to customer accounts
- Enter cheques in bank book
- Take bank deposit to bank
- Enter all accounts payable
- Pay accounts payable when due
- Print cheques
- Mail cheques
- Reconcile all general ledger accounts for month end and year end reporting
- Prepare data for yearly Audit/General Review - assist auditors
- Help prepare report for production budget info - sales, cost of goods, expenses etc
- Bi-weekly payroll input and yearly reconciliation and filing
- GST/PST/WSIB filings
- Co-ordinate year end inventory count
Ideal candidate will have a full understanding of Quickbooks, excellent communication skills, full committed to a full time position, reliable and dependable.
