Compliance Manager

What's involved?


Reporting directly to the President & CEO, the Manager, Compliance will be managing the compliance function, which is responsible for  monitoring internal control systems and compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and internal policies and procedures administration of compliance awareness and training programs and working with Senior Management to mitigate overall corporate risks.


 


Responsibilities:



Management


·   Manage and deploy resources of Compliance Dept to meet internal and external stakeholders' requirements


·   Liaise with E&Y external auditors and CUSA Corporate Compliance


·   Assist Senior Management in mitigation of overall corporate risks


Internal Audit


·   Perform risk assessment and develop annual internal audit plan


·   Plan, execute and report on planned and ad-hoc internal audit engagements


·   Coordination with CUSA Internal Audit engagements at Canon Canada Inc.


Sarbanes-Oxley


·   Manage SOX certification process for Canon Canada Inc.


·   Coordination with business process owners


·   Reviewing and updating RCM's and other documentation


·   Coordination with CUSA Corporate Compliance for project management and reporting


·   Coordination and assist CUSA Internal Audit to plan and execute management testing


·   Coordination and assist with E&Y for external auditor testing


·   Assist CUSA Internal Audit


Compliance Awareness and Training


·   Coordination with CUSA Corporate Compliance and implement Compliance Awareness Program for Canon Canada Inc.


·   Communicate, implement and report on on-line Compliance Training Program



Are you up for the challenge?




Requirements:


·         University Degree in Business/Accounting


·         Qualified CA/CPA/CIA


·         CISA would be very good asset


·         5 yrs experience in public or internal audit


·         2 yrs experience with SOX
