Documentation SME (Subject Matter Experts) - Maintenance/Operations
Location: Tiverton, Ontario
General Accountabilities:
. Provide input to Project Management Plans to support programs of work and procedures associated with the revisions of Operational and Maintenance documents that are a result of the Project scopes of work.
. Interface with Client and contractors to ensure their needs are met in line with project objectives.
. Develop and foster good working arrangements with all interfaces
. Provide support as required in developing budgetary & staffing requirements as required by the program needs.
. Provide support to Documentation Team Lead in the form of procedure rewrite verification and validation as necessary.
Duties:
. Assist in the development of processes to ensure all of the affected documentation from the Project are identified and managed through to completion or disposition.
. Identify standards and requirements to which changes must adhere to.
. Review work packages to identify all affected Operational and Maintenance documentation resulting from Project scopes.
. Be the Subject Matter Expert and act as oversight for the production of documentation changes throughout process up to documents getting approved by the Client.
. Oversee documentation changes.
. Interface with the Return To Service organizations and all outside organizations and act as an intelligent customer on documentation issues.
. Provide the client with the timely deliverable of documents.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required:
. Experience producing documented changes to Maintenance and Operational documentation. +5 Years Experience.
. Operational / Maintenance Experience in a Nuclear Facility. +15 years experience.
. Working within highly regulated environments subject to rigorous review.
. Self Motivated.
. Strong Communication and interpersonal skills.
. Ability to work with minimal supervision in a multi discipline environment
. Ability to interact on a working level with Management, Project, and Contract staff
