Brief Posting Description 


 


EPCOR Technologies is looking for an Engineer, Electrical EIT to join their team!


One Permanent Full-Time position is available.


 


Detailed Description  


  


EPCOR Technologies is responsible for the construction and maintenance of certain elements of the City of Edmonton's street lighting and traffic signals, plus LRT and trolley signaling and power distribution systems. Similar projects are also undertaken for other clients throughout Alberta. As part of EPCOR Technologies, the Engineering & Project Management group provides design, project management, consulting and advisory services for the electrical components of the transportation infrastructure.  We are looking for a highly motivated EIT to join our group and become a successful contributor in the services we provide. 


 


Accountabilities: 


 



  • Development and sign-off of engineering design drawings.

  • Utilization of industry specific software for design and analysis.

  • Preparation of reports, proposals, and tender bid submissions.

  • Preparation of budgets and other supporting documentation for management issues.

  • Interaction with other engineers, technologists, technicians, and construction personnel.

  • Assisting management in contract administration and client services tracking.

  • Involvement of a variety of agencies for project approvals and permits.

  • Meeting with clients regarding projects and project progress, technical issues.

  • Estimating and scheduling of projects, procurement of materials and updating and maintenance of databases and manuals.

  • Providing technical expertise in resolving electrical related issues.
