ENGINEERING PROJECTS OFFICER Permanent Full Time An exciting opportunity to apply your exceptional team leadership skills in municipal capital projects Under the direction of the Manager, Engineering and Environmental Services, you will deal exclusively with new subdivision development projects, providing leadership to ensure they are completed in accordance with the City of Whitehorse and Yukon Territorial Government land development protocols. As well as exercising independent judgement on projects, you will assume responsibility for undertaking public consultation to affected stakeholders. Your Bachelor of Applied Science degree is enhanced by four years of progressive municipal design and construction experience in water, sewer and roadway systems with cold climate emphasis and a Professional Engineer Designation. You must hold a valid Class 5 Drivers License, and certificates in Standard First Aid, Confined Space Entry, and Electrical Hazards, or b e able to obtain certification within 6 months of hire.
