THE OPPORTUNITY:



Our client is looking for a Payroll and Benefits Administrator who is fluent in German to join their team in central Toronto. 



In this role, the Payroll and Benefits Administrator will be responsible for the complete, accurate and timely processing of payroll and benefits.    



RESPONSIBILITIES:



Set up new hires, process and administer payroll, process remittances and garnishments and maintain records of employment. 



Resolve payroll discrepancies as well as assist with the general ledger reconciliations and preparation of journal entries.



Set up and administer all benefit packages.



Employees are paid through multiple payrolls (different organizations)  therefore, candidates with experience administering multiple payrolls are encouraged to apply. 



REQUIREMENTS: 



The strong candidate will have two or more years of payroll administration experience.



Preferably, you will have experience with hourly payroll.



The successful applicant will have excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills.



In addition the applicant will be a team player able to multitask and adapt to various situations.



Preference will be given to those who are enrolled in the Canadian Payroll Association program or are a designated CPM.



Only applicants who speak German will be considered for this position.



COMPENSATION:



Mid fifties range.
