Due to our continued success we are seeking a talented, highly self-motivated individual in the role of Mechanical Assembler, who is capable of meeting the highest quality  assembly standards for complex automation projects.   


 




 


 


Your Challenge will be to:


·        


o      Work within defined timeframes to deliver a high quality product and service to a variety of internal and external clients.


o      Assemble tooling components guided by technical drawings to produce quality assemblies, pneumatic piping, basic electrical wiring, tool-making and precise fitting.


o      Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues with a minimum of supervision.


o      Test the finished products to ensure the correct operation following standard tooling practices and prescribed test procedures.


o      Complete accurate and timely documentation of changes made.


o      Maintain excellent housekeeping standards in work areas and strict adherence to all Health and Safety policies and practices.


 


 


Your Talents and Experience


 


·       Completion of a Mechanical or Engineering technologist program combined with several years of complex mechanical assembly experience.


·       Solid experience in delivering a quality product in a timely and safe manner and within established quality systems guidelines.


·       The ability to read and interpret pneumatic and mechanical assembly and detail drawings


·       Basic knowledge of MIG Welding and basic Machining for fitting purposes


·       Demonstrated experience in fault finding on systems,


·       Highly detail oriented


·       The ability to demonstrate a positive and pro-active approach in support of quality practices within area of responsibility


·       Good time management, and organizational skills


·       Good computer skills and mathematical skills


·       Good oral and written English communication skills


·       Good working knowledge of WHMIS and health and safety policies
