SALES ANALYST

We are currently seeking a Sales Analyst in our Financial Management department

at the Toronto Canada Life location in our Individual Insurance division.

 

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Manager, CL FM (Toronto), you will be responsible for all aspects of sales budgeting, analysis and reporting for CL Individual Distribution Operations.

 

Accountabilities:

• Responsible for sales reporting, analysis and budgeting, including all reporting to the Regional Marketing Centres (RMC) and coordination with the sales reported by the product areas
• Responsible for the administration sales reporting application and its maintenance
• Provide ad hoc support to Distribution clients/customers for business case analysis and other  information needs

Qualifications and Competencies:

·         Post-secondary degree or diploma, preferably in a Business/Commerce area of study

·         Minimum 5 years experience in a related position and preferably in the insurance industry

• Highly accurate and attentive to detail when publishing data

·         Team player and ability to handle multiple tasks

·         Can act with a sense of urgency and meet tight deadlines

·         Excellent analytical and problem solving skills to provide meaningful input to assist in explanation of variances for  issue resolution

·         Ability to work independently or collaboratively to solve problems and achieve stated goals

·         Effective verbal and written communication essential when dealing with HO

·         Strong knowledge and expertise with PC applications, Microsoft Access,

·         Database management and Cognos would be a definite asset
