Department Overview This team's main accountability is providing financial reporting and analysis to the Private Client Group businesses. We are part of the overall Wealth Management Finance group which has a mandate to: . Proactively contribute as a member of the Business Unit Management Team . Assist in the development of business strategy . Continually monitor performance against short and long-term Business Unit Financial objectives . Provide expertise and guidance to Business Unit managers on a range of financial management issues. . Develop a highly respected team of finance professionals . Partner with all Finance stakeholders to develop a world class Finance Team Job Description The Senior Financial Analyst will play a significant role in the delivery of financial reporting and analysis for the Private Client Group businesses. More specifically, the incumbent will be accountable for: Reporting . Executing the P&L production process . Variance analysis and commentary on monthly results . Calculation and review of variable compensation and various other accruals . Maintenance and Review of internal cost allocation models . Production of monthly financial results for each business line PIC, Trust, and Private Banking . Process review and enhancement Planning, Forecasting and Business Analysis . Construction and maintenance of financial models . Adhoc financial analysis to support business decisions (i.e. business cases for new systems, products, etc) . Mining data in various product systems as necessary to identify trends and enhance financial models (i.e. SEI, MPower, EDW, etc) Job Requirements . A professional accounting designation . Confident and capable in dealing with Senior Management . Strong Excel modeling skills . Experience using Microsoft Access to store and mine large amounts of data . Solid business acumen . Well developed written and oral communication skills .
