THE OPPORTUNITY:

A major public accounting firm seeks to hire a Quality Assurance Manager for their Toronto Office. The firm is organized into three areas of specialization or three groups: - Financial Services (banking and insurance) - Retail, Distribution, Manufacturing (RDM) - Technology, Entertainment and Communications (TEC).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and maintain a productive relationships with clients.

Participate in audit procedures.

Focus on complex and specialized audit procedures.

Identify key drivers of performance, business trends and emerging industry developments.

Maintain a proactive supervisory role encouraging individuals to think for themselves.

Conduct performance reviews.

Generate new business opportunities within business segment.

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates must have industry experience in one of the firm's three areas of specialization.

Minimum 5 years experience industry specific experience as an Auditor.

Overall 8 to 10 years of experience.

Chartered Accountant - Canadian designation.

University degree.

Excellent project management skills.

Team player.

COMPENSATION:

Salary commensurate with experience.
