THE OPPORTUNITY:

A well established firm in Toronto seeks to engage Senior Tax Managers with five years plan Canadian and US tax planning and compliance.

 

You will work with high net worth individuals and individual corporations and high level executive transfers between Canada and the US and vice versa.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with and counsel high net worth individuals and senior executives on cross border tax planning and compliance.

 

Prepare / review tax returns and other tax forms for complex personal and individual corporations.

 

Effectively respond to client requests and to engagement-related problems requiring immediate attention.

REQUIREMENTS:

A CA or CPA accounting designation.

Five years plus experience working in Canadian and US tax planning and compliance.

Successful completion of the CICA In-Depth Tax Course.
 
Must have excellent communication skills and the diplomacy to deal with both internal and external parties as required.

Proficient knowledge of tax software (i.e. Tax Prep, Profile) and Microsoft Office.

Must be able to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines.

Exceptional organizational, analytical and multi-tasking skills.

COMPENSATION:

Six figures plus income competitive and commensurate with experience.
