Our client is a company who provides human resources services at a national scale.
They are currently seeking:
A BILINGUAL PAYROLL SPECIALIST
$40K to $45K - Downtown Montreal - Permanent position
Your responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for the payroll process concerning client portfolios located across all the Canada and the USA.
You will be working under the supervision of the Payroll Manager.
As a Payroll Specialist, you will be in charge of :
- collecting and organizing payroll data received by fax, e-mail or mail
- inputting the payroll data of your assigned clients
- correcting all perceived errors
- verifying that the payroll input data has been received prior to submission to the Payroll Manager.
- escalating client problems and concerns to the Payroll Manager
- calculating basic net pay
- administrating the clients' benefits packages
- filing and scanning of payroll records
- assessing performance indicators (short delays) and providing high quality service to the clientele at all times
Your profile
You have :
- advanced level of French and English - COMPULSORY
- minimum 3 years of experience in a payroll department - COMPULSORY
- experience in a complex and high volume payroll environment - COMPULSORY
- Canadian Payroll Association certification
- knowledge of ADP software and MS Office
- experience in payroll for multiple provinces across Canada and/or USA
- previous training and background in customer service standards
- an ability to multi-task under tight deadlines
