Job Description:

Our Client is seeking an experienced CNC Horizontal & Vertical Boring Mill Operator.   They are a solid manufacturing company in business for over 50 years manufacturing customized large gears for the Mining and Industrial industry.  They  are looking for a hardworking, reliable and motivated individual who is able to work independently.  This is a full time position offering competitive wages, pension program and extended benefits.

Roles & Responsibilities

As a CNC Horizontal or Vertical Boring Mill Operator, you will be responsible for:

. Setting up jobs

. Interpreting drawings and blueprints

. Programming new designs

. Operating of the machine



The successful candidate must be:

. Organized

. Reliable

. Punctual

. Accurate & meticulous to detail

. Trained on Horizontal or Vertical boring mill

The successful candidate must also:

. Be able to work independently and demonstrate initiative

. Be able to work at a fast pace

. Be able to multi-task effectively

. Be able to handle physical labour

. Good communication skills both written and verbal

. Computer skills essential

Requirements:

. Experience with Horizontal or Vertical CNC Boring Mill

. 2 to 5 years of operating experience is required

. Grade 12, ticketed machinist (inter-provincial)
