Consultant - Front-end ASP.Net Developer

 

Our client, a major real estate company in Toronto, is looking for a permanent web developer with strong user interface skills to join their team. The ideal candidate will posses excellent problem solving and analytical skills. They will be self-motivated in their work and professional development and have the ability to set priorities, manage time and work with minimal supervision.

 

Role:



Provide custom application development and application/system support as required to multiple business lines within the company. Design application specific user interfaces and code functionality. Perform test and re-mediate issues following the testing process. Provide production support for .NET applications, as required.



Specific duties include:

Application support, maintenance, integration, data standardization procedures & administration processes. Custom web development / cross-application development / application interface design / graphics development and support Requirements, analysis, planning and application/development documentation, end-user support.

 

Requirements:

 

1) Over 2 years of experience in front-end ASP.Net Development including the following technologies: VB.Net, AJAX, Javascript, DHTML

2) Previous professional experience in developing custom applications and providing maintenance and support

3) Experience with MSSQL and database design concepts

4) Excellent Problem Solving and Trouble-shooting skills

5) Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills

6) Must Have - Certificate in Computer Programming /Current technology

7) Testing:

            Ajax - A score of 80% or higher on ProveIT test

              DHTML/Java Script - A score of 80% or higher on ProveIT test

 

Nice to Haves:

1) Previous experience developing gaming applications.
